Ever wondered how painters get perfectly straight lines?

Anytime you need perfect lines for your paint project, this tip is a MUST!
When using painter’s tape to create lines, you run the risk of the paint bleeding under the tape and making your line less than straight. To keep it straight without paint leaking through the tape, brush a light coat of the base paint along the inside edge of the tape. This will seal the edge. Any leaking under the tape will be the same color and sheen as the base coat, so you won’t be able to see it. This is what will make your line PERFECT!
